John Davis Jr. is a writer, educator, and sixth-generation Floridian. His poetry has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, and he holds an MFA from the University of Tampa. His written works are published in literary journals throughout the South and around the world. He teaches English and Composition for Polk State College.
